Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Arabi.

“It will be an exciting game from start till the end, regardless of the teams’ rankings. We are prepared to provide our best and achieve a positive result at the start of second leg of the competition.

“This will be an important start for the team. I have felt a good atmosphere since my arrival here, a great understanding by the players with my philosophy. Now, we have started work and every day I notice an improvement in the team’s performance.

“We may have some normal problems that exist in all clubs, such as injuries and players joining the national teams. We will work in order to improve our team from this stage to a higher level.

“Now, we have before us a new stage of 11 games. Each of them is a new opportunity. Al Arabi is the first test. We will work to improve our position in the ranking table. I look at all matches as cup matches and this is what I tell my players.

“Regarding the winter transfer window, I always believe if we can add a player who can give additional value to the team, he is welcome,” said Nebojsa.
