Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 14 match against Al Gharafa.

“The Al Gharafa match is very important and it will be a strong game, and we will play to win. We will face a team with high capabilities that has been working for years with coach Pedro and I expect it to be a great match against a great team.

“We will try to play like the last match by presenting a strong display as the team’s fitness was high and the pace of the match was high, we did not achieve the result we wanted against Al Duhail, but the performance was great. We will look into the next match to play with the same performance, but the most important thing is the result, we will try to get the three points and advance in the standings.

“We will work on changing the players’ mentality to be a winning mentality and we tried during the winter transfer period to add some changes to raise the team’s level, but the most important thing is to change the players’ mentality to a winning mentality and enter any match in order to achieve victory,” said Artur Jorge.
