Al Khor coach Mehdi Nafti spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 14 match against Al Ahli.

“We prepared as required for this match against Al Ahli, an organized team that is performing well. We corrected the mistakes we made against Al Shahania to avoid them in our next match.

“We know that we are in a very difficult situation, but we have to work and work and we will never give up. We will focus on ourselves and how we can get out of this zone.

“Al Ahli, for me, is the team with the most organized lines and good players and they have excellent transformations. We worked on their weaknesses. Until the last minute of the transfer period, the club and everyone are working to bring the best for the team,” said Mehdi Nafti.

Al Khor player Andri Syahputra said, “We have a good team, but sometimes the results are not in your favour. We work hard and diligently to get out of this stage and we do not deserve this position.

“The atmosphere is very positive in the dressing room as if it is one family, and all players know how difficult the task is and everyone is aware of the extent of the responsibility. We hope to achieve positive results in the upcoming matches, starting with the match against Al Ahli, an organized team.”
