Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 2 match against Al Rayyan.

“A difficult game awaits us against Al Rayyan at Lusail Stadium. Al Arabi and Al Rayyan matches are always characterized by strength and enthusiasm, and excitement is always there.

“Al Rayyan are looking to make a strong comeback and Al Arabi are  also looking for continuity in collecting points. A difficult match awaits us, but we are able to provide a better level than the previous match.

“We do not disagree on the capabilities of our new recruit Omar Al Somah, a great player. He will a good addition to Al Arabi and the League.

“Our motto is always to take each match separately as a final, and the next match is the most important, regardless of Al Rayyan's previous result,”said Younes.

Al Arabi goalkeeper Mahmoud Abunada said, “We always enter every match with utmost focus and seriousness to reap the three points, and Al Rayyan matches are always characterized by strength, enthusiasm and excitement.

“The match will be strong and enthusiastic, and each team will take advantage of the other's mistakes to win, and whoever will make the fewest mistakes will win.”
