Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Al Shahania.
“Our next opponents Al Shahania certainly do not deserve the last place in standings after seven rounds of competition, if one goes by the quality and ability of their technical staff.
“Al Shahania had an exceptional season last year. I remember we lost to them last season. We play well in all games and create opportunities, but our problem is that we are not scoring many goals.
“The team so far has not suffered much from injuries , but the problem in some games was heat and humidity which affect the players’ level and make them suffer muscle injuries.
“I am not yet satisfied with our professional players’ performance and also with some of our results. We could have got more points. We were supposed to be in the top rung of the table. We are working towards that,” said Trabelsi.
