As part of its commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility, and promoting the culture of football and interacting with all sections of the society, the Qatar Stars League (QSL) joined hands with Qatari athletes in the Special Sports Festival organised by the Yarmouk Preparatory School for Boys on Tuesday, 2nd October.

A group of QNB Stars League players — Yousef Muftah, Abdulaziz Hatem, Fahd Al Shammari, Diego Amado, Othman Al Yahri and Thamer Jamal from Al Gharafa, Abdulrahman Al Karbi and Mohammed Alaaeldin from Al Rayyan, Mohamed El Neel, Fahd Khalfan, Jasser Yahya and Abdullah Marafih from Al Arabi, Ali Jassemi and Rami Fayez from Qatar SC and Mohsen Al Yazidi from Al Ahli — participated in the festival.

The delegation included QSL’s Community Activities Head Abdulaziz Al Malki and Community Relations Officer Nasser Al Kuwari as well as Qatar Players’ Association’s Ibrahim Al Ghanem, a former star of Al Gharafa and the Qatar national team.

The event was attended by Dr Ali Al Bakri of the Olympic Sports Academy, Khalifa Al Mannai, Director of Khalifa Secondary School for Boys, Obaid Juma, Technical Analyst on sports channels, and Ali Al Kubaisi, Specialist, Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The school administration, represented by Principal Ibrahim Al Aidan, well-known coach Abdulla Mubarak and renowned referee Khamis Al Kuwari, welcomed the guests and thanked the QSL for the initiative.

The festival included various sports and recreational activities involving the students aimed at encouraging them to display their talents and abilities towards building their future and serving the community.
