Al Khor held Umm Salal to a 1-1 draw with a stoppage-time strike in the second round of 2025-2026 QSL Cup at the Al Khor Stadium on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Sharing the spoils both Umm Salal and Al Khor saw their respective points tally move to four points each.

Al Khor substitute Abdullah Mohammed drilled home a long-ranger from about 10 yards outside the box (90+4 minute) to level the scores. The drive beat a diving goalkeeper to his left.

Earlier, Umm Salal had gone up the lead in the 53rd minute, with Abdullah Khaled initiating a fine move by sending the ball to the right and dashed ahead to receive a cross and score.

The teams were locked 0-0 at half-time.

It was Al Khor who were more aggressive in the opening half making several attempts on the rival citadel, but had been lacking a good finish. On a few occasions, their good chances were foiled by Umm Salal goalkeeper Louay Ashour.
