Al Sailiya beat Al Markhiya 1-0 in the second round of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al Wakrah club on Wednesday.

Anwar El Ghazi scored the lone goal in the 30th minute of the high-tempo match.

With the result, Al Sailiya, who won their opening-round match 2-1 against Al Shahania, continued their impressive run in the tournament, while Al Markhiya, who were reduced to 10 men in the 90th minute after a red-card offence, remained rooted to one point, having drawn their first match against Muaither in the first round.
