Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Khor.

“Facing Al Khor is no less important than any match and we seek to improve our position in the standings by winning and collecting three points. We also have to focus on the team’s upcoming games and put the past matches and their results behind us.

“I do not expect an easy game against Al Khor, who have outstanding players, and we strive to provide the same performance as in the previous match and the same spirit in order to achieve the three points.

“Al Khor are an organized team that play with tactical flexibility and they will do their best to win and get out of the bottom positions in the standings. We must use our offensive power to win.

“Our goal is to be in the top four. The Al Rayyan match result is a motivation for us to present an honorable show against Al Khor,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Aaron Boupendza said, “The team's upcoming game against Al Khor is difficult and we hope to reap the three points to strengthen the team's position in the top four.

“We are well aware of what is required of us in the Al Khor game and we look forward to present an honorable show that satisfies our fans, as happened in the last round against Al Rayyan.

“Al Khor are a good team capable of making the difference and for this we have to be in the best concentration and must fight until the final whistle.”
