Al Shamal coach Hisham Zahid spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Qatar SC.

“Al Shamal and Qatar SC are coming from defeats and both teams seek to compensate and win the three points, which will make the match more difficult for both sides.

“Our eyes are on the three points and we strive to win, but at the same time we are fully aware that the match will not be easy at all against a good team that has players at the highest level and efficient technical staff.

“Our motto will be the commitment to the things agreed upon with the players in order to achieve the best.

“I invite our fans to keep supporting the team at the stadiums. Their role is very big,” said Hisham Zahid.

Al Shamal player Fahad Waad said, “We are waiting for an important and difficult match against a very good team. But at the same time we will play to win only because our goal is to win the three points. We will be able to do so, God willing.

“I think the team presented good levels in the past matches.”
