Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 18 match against Al Rayyan.

“It is for us a very important match in view of our current circumstances, especially since every point lost will complicate the matters for us.

“The difficulty of the match lies in the importance of obtaining points at this stage, and everyone knows the the importance of this match and the importance of the next stage. God-willing, we will succeed in taking advantage of our opportunities correctly and this is the most important thing that concerns us because this is the biggest problem we have – of not taking advantage of opportunities in front of the goal. In addition, we concede silly goals and that has also put us in a spot.

“Al Rayyan are going through difficult conditions and we have achieved positive results against Al Rayyan, which was in better conditions than the current situation. Al Rayyan have players at a high level in terms even though their results did not justify that. Whether the situation of Al Rayyan is good or bad is not what will decide the outcome of our match against them. Our problem is within us. God-willing, we will succeed in ending the attacks in the right way,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Rami Fayez said, “The match against Al Rayyan is decisive and difficult and there is no room for wasting points. We strive to be in the highest degree of concentration in order to achieve victory and reap the three points.

“Our preparations were excellent and we are fully prepared for this game against a great and respected team. They certainly have the ambition to win especially after their loss to Al Duhail.”
