Al Arabi face Al Wakrah in Week 20 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League at the Al Arabi Stadium on Saturday, April 29. The kick-off is at 19:00.

The clash is between two big teams which have respective goals and as such there will be great excitement for each of the sides to win and advance in the standings.

Al Arabi enter the match being in second place in the standings with 43 points, only two points behind Al Duhail. With only three rounds left in the league championship, Al Arabi would seek a win in pursuit of the top spot.

Al Wakrah are fifth with 30 points and a victory will be the only way for them to fulfil hopes of making it into the top four.

Both teams have a number of top quality players who can present a strong show. Al Arabi bank on their attacking strength in the presence of Omar Al Somah and Yousef Msakni in addition to Aron Gunnarsson, Marc Muniesa, Rafinha Alcantara, Helal Mohammed, Hamed Ismail and others.

The Dream Team enter the meeting with all the motivation having made it to the final of the prestigious Amir Cup by beating Al Sailiya 7-1 in the semifinal.

On the other hand, Al Wakrah will depend on the brilliance of their star player Jacinto Dala, the top scorer in the competition along with Michael Olunga of Al Duhail. Both players have scored 15 goals each so far.

The Blue Wave also have Algerian Mohamed Benyettou, Abdulghani Munir, Yousef Abdulrazaq and others who can deliver the results.
