Qatar SC coach Younis Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Umm Salal.
“The match against Umm Salal is difficult. We are ready and our ambition is to achieve a positive result. It is possible that our squad will witness new additions. But in general, the team is not yet complete.
“But what matters to me is that the existing group is good and we are fully prepared for the remainder of the season’s competitions despite the shortage at the level of professionals.
“An incomplete squad is a cause of concern for any coach and I agree with the club management’s opinion that the new player should be an addition to the team and the league in general. The management is looking for the best options available to build a strategy for the remainder of the season and for the future as well.
“My confidence in the players is great and it develops through the good displays that the players provide in the matches. We have distinguished players and we only need to strengthen our ranks to be fully prepared for the matches,” said Younis.
