Romanian defender Dragos Grigore has assured that his Al Sailiya side is fully prepared ahead of the new QSL season. The no nonsense defender spoke at the final QSL media day to give his thoughts on the season ahead with the Peregrines. “Al Sailiya is ready for the QSL season. The squad enjoyed a good preseason; this group is determined to make an impact in the league.”
Grigore, who represented Romania at the recent European Championships in France also stressed that the season ahead will have plenty of challenges for his side. “Every game in the QSL will be tough, we need to be at our very best to achieve our goals. It’s important we start well and build on this for the rest of the season.”
Al Sailiya will open up their QSL season with a match against Al Arabi on Thursday the 15th of September.
