The Qatar Stars League has signed a two-year co-operation agreement with Education Above All (EAA), a foundation established in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser with the aim of building a global movement that contributes to human, social and economic development through the provision of quality education.

The agreement comes as a part of the QSL’s community initiatives, in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Thus, Education Above All became a community partner of the QSL for its three tournaments — QNB Stars League, Qatar Cup and Ooredoo Cup.

Education Above All is a global initiative to serve the needy. It provides access to education for children around the world, especially in the communities suffering from poverty and conflict. It advocates to safeguard inclusive and quality education for all in the whole world. The EAA is committed to enroll 10.4 million children who are not registered in schools as well as award scholarships to talented but disadvantaged youth.

The aim of this initiative is to use football to convey messages, and popularise projects and initiatives implemented by Education Above All.

Mr. Mohammed Al Kubaisi, Director of Procurement and Operations at EAA, said, “We’re working with our partners to achieve all our goals. We’re delighted to have signed this agreement with the QSL and hope that our shared ambitions will be realised.”

Mr. Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Marketing, Sales and Communication at QSL, said, “We’re delighted to sign this agreement, which is a part of the QSL’s community initiatives, and Education Above All has an important role to play in that aspect.”
