<p>Al Arabi’s Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson is out of action as he is nursing an ankle injury he suffered during their QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Khor on 4th October.</p><p>He had to leave the field after 83 minutes.</p><p>Gunnarsson will be operated upon soon and his layoff period will be determined only after the surgery.</p><p>The player underwent medical tests at Aspetar.</p><p>Al Arabi are currently second in the QNB Stars League standings with 13 points and a game in hand. They beat Al Khor 3-1 in the last round.</p>
