Al Duhail coach Rui Faria spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 18 match against Al Ahli.

“It will not be easy against Al Ahli who will strive to achieve victory. We started preparing for this game as usual after our game against Al Gharafa. We analysed Al Ahli’s defence and attack. They have a young team and a new young coach who works very well and always starts his attacks from behind which gives the team strength.

“We were not happy with our goalless draw with Al Gharafa, which widened our gap with Al Sadd to four points. Now we are counting on other teams to undermine Al Sadd’s chances. We still have mathematical chance to win the title and we will continue to fight for it.

“There is chance until the last round. We now have to prepare positively for a good outcome. We hope to have our chances in the games to come. I will be happy if we score more goals and we will definitely continue to work hard to make the team perform the way we want,” said Faria.
