Al Ahli coach Ruben de la Barrera spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 18 match against Al Duhail.

“We are ready to meet Al Duhail and compensate for the loss against Al Sailiya. But the task is not going to be easy. We have to bring out our best.

“Last week, we worked to motivate the players to do their best and be back on the winning path. We did not deserve to lose to Al Sailiya. We lost the match because of some small details.

“I know all teams, especially the strengths and weaknesses of our players. My job is to help our players bring out their best.

“You can expect an exciting match because Al Duhail are one of the best teams in Qatar. But we are ready for this great challenge. Our ambition is to finish the season in the top four. We will work hard to achieve that and face all teams with all our strength.

“If we play well in our style, we will win. Al Duhail are a strong team, We studied them. However, we focus mainly on our performance,” said Barrera.
