Al Arabi coach Heimir Hallgrimsson spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Ahli.

“The game against Al Ahli in the 20th week of the league is my fifth with the team. It comes after we lost two matches and won as many games. Now, we are trying to beat Al Ahli.

“We know that Al Ahli want to end up among the top four and thus play in the AFC Champions League. Their chances of doing that are better than us. Our goal now is to look for victory and develop the overall level of the team.

“I cannot be satisfied with six points from four games. On the other hand, there is satisfaction with the team’s performance and its development. Hopefully, our performance and results will be much better next season.

“All that is required is to focus on Al Ahli without worrying about the upcoming results. The basic plan is to go beyond what Al Arabi have,” said Hallgrimsson.
