Al Arabi coach Heimir Hallgrimsson spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 17 match against Al Khor.

“Our preparations for the match have been good. The games between Al Arabi and Al Khor are always tough and are not resolved until the last minutes. We know very well what it takes to win the game and all players are on top of their readiness.

“Looking at the ranking table, we know the importance of the Al Khor match to score points. The remaining matches will also be difficult, but I have confidence in the team, given that our performance is getting better and the team spirit is high.

“The Al Sadd match was great and we learned a lot from it. We can fight till the end of a game in order to come up with a positive result. We are also optimistic that we can further improve our performance.

“The fighting quality our players showed against Al Sadd should be there in all matches. The positive thing is the presence of a large number of young players because they represent the strength of Al Arabi and future of Qatar football. It is also an indicator that the team will be better next season,” said Hallgrimsson.
