Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Qatar SC.

“Our preparations for this game was normal. Our goal is to win, we are on the right track and we started to win points. Our main weapon is confidence.

“Our performance in the last three matches (three draws) was satisfying. This gives us extra confidence. But we must continue to work hard and trust in our ability to achieve victories.

“We are now focused on the games especially since this is an important stage of the tournament. We do not think about winter transfers. We are keen to strengthen the existing players, so each one of them gives off their best.

“We, in Al Shahania, have good relationships among all people based on transparency and mutual trust. This is not my first season in Al Shahania. I have no doubt about the team management’s trust in me. I trust the management and the players, and always thank the management for its patience,” said Murcia.
