Al Duhail coach Rui Faria spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 1 match against Qatar SC.

“We’re ready to face Qatar SC. We will start the competition in a new tournament. We miss some players, but we will have 11 players on the pitch who will do their best to collect full points, so that we make a strong start to the league.

“We will sorely miss Luis Martin, Assim Madibo, Mohammed Moussa, Ahmed Yasser and Mehdi Benatia. The QNB Stars League is different from the AFC Champions League,” said Faria.
