Al Ahli coach Ruben de la Barrera spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 22 match against Al Khor.

“We are ready to face Al Khor in our final game of the season. Three points are very important for us and we will play hard to win. We do not want to go into big details. What is important is to win and then look at the standings.

“When you face against the top three teams in the standings, you have to be very focused, especially when you are in the last-third of the opponents’ court. We must be strong on that front and we are working on that (Al Ahli had lost 2-7 to new champions Al Sadd in Week 21).

“There are many things I am satisfied with, but there are things with which I am not. I am working on them as well. We got some good results and a respectable position. Losing to Al Sailiya in Week 17 was a blow to us,” said Barrera.
