Al Khor coach Omar Naji spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Kharaitiyat.

“Our preparations to face Al Kharaitiyat have generally been good. We focused on the psychological and tactical aspects. All players feel responsible and we tried during the break to ease the pressure on the players. We are ready to achieve a positive result in the game. There is no pressure on us.

“He stressed that the friendly match against Muaither SC, played during the break after the last round in the QNB Stars League, was of benefit to Al Khor. We could try out various permutations and combinations in that game.

“The result of the previous match (Al Khor had defeated Al Kharaitiyat 5-1 in the first leg) cannot be linked to the current situation. The Al Kharaitiyat team has improved significantly compared to what they were at the start of the season and our next game is crucial. Our team is technically and psychologically ready,” said Omar.
