Al Wakrah coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Al Khor.

“All games in the league this season are difficult, there is no easy match. Al Khor is no exception and we have to be at the top of our readiness.

“Our team returned to the league after spending two seasons in the Second Division. We are preparing for the Al Khor game with the intention of winning, which is very important.

“Our team is improving after every game. If we win, we go up in the ranking table. If we lose, we will work for victories in the coming games.

“We lost the last game due to individual mistakes. We played with many players under the age of 23 years. They didn’t have enough experience, compared to the the players of Al Sailiya,” said Marquez.
