Al Wakrah coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 2 match against Qatar SC.

“We’ll work hard to beat Qatar SC. I wish it would be the beginning of victories after our loss to Al Sadd in the first game.

“Against Al Sadd, we played with 10 players from the 16th minute. Since then, some weaknesses appeared in our defence. We worked on them in between.

“Qatar SC will be preparing for a win after their game against Al Duhail in the last minutes. On our part, we’re also preparing to win every game. Generally, all teams in the league are strong and Qatar SC aren’t an exception. They play well defensively and offensively, but we’ll work to win this game.

“The main reason for our loss to Al Sadd may be the red card,” said Marquez.
