Al Gharafa coach Slavisa Jokanovic spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Al Khor.

“We are trying to analyse the opponents technically because they will put up a stiff resistance. They are an organised side defensively. Generally, Al Khor try to score from set-pieces and counter-attacks.

“We will be ready to collect three points. The match is difficult, but we will use all our potential to emerge as the winners.

“It is normal that there is disappointment after our loss to Al Duhail in the last round. We were organised in the first half with rare mistakes. When you face a team that is stronger than you, you must take advantage of the opportunities that you have. We did not do it. We did not have the offensive effectiveness wither.

“We must correct our mistakes moving forward. As a coach, I do not deal with players’ age. My job is to help any player, whether young or old, because this is my mission, It is important that the players must develop themselves and have the ambition to improve their level in order to make progress in their career,” said Jokanovic.
