Al Khor coach Bernard Casoni spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Arabi.

“The loss to Al Ahli in the last round was a bad thing and a very unsatisfactory result. That made us feel very sad as we deserved at least a draw.

“The team continued training hard after the Al Ahli game and we are working towards providing a good performance against Al Arabi in order to get the three points that are very important to us.

“Al Arabi are a good team, but they are also suffering like us. They have excellent players in their ranks, but we will try to win and regain confidence. So the confrontation will not be easy. Such games are decided on simple mistakes and we have to be more focused.

“We wished to win over Al Ahli thereby building on the victories achieved against Al Rayyan and Al Kharaitiyat and our level is improving.

“We are doing a good job and we are providing good levels, but we have to prove all that by achieving good results,”said Casoni.
