Al Ahli coach Ruben de la Barrera spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Qatar SC.

“Playing against Qatar SC will be very difficult. We’re seeking win against Qatar SC by putting up a strong performance and thereby compensate for the loss in our last two games, against Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan. We’ve prepared well for this match.

“We want to pressurise the opponents and score goals. We must avoid mistakes that we committed in the last moments, as happened in the games against Al Gharafa and Al Rayyan.

“We want to make appropriate changes that will give us control of the game. We’re working on how to avoid making mistakes in the last minutes.

“I’m not worried about losing my job if the team isn’t performing well. Because the most important thing for me is the development of football in the club. We’ll try make good results with good performances in the upcoming games in the league,” said Barrera.
