Al Arabi coach Heimir Hallgrimsson spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 21 match against Qatar SC.

“There has not been much time for the players to recover after our last game and we did not do much on the tactical front. But we will play the game against Qatar SC with great confidence.

“We are continuing our preparations in our bid to build a team for the future. We are motivated to win over Qatar SC even though we may not finish among the top-four teams.

“We have given many young players opportunity to play. It is difficult for us to end up the tournament with a top-four spot. We are sticking to our project of preparing a team for the future.

“The best way to make the team more competitive is to bring in professionals from abroad, but I prefer to have players who have great potential. They will be able to adapt to my philosophy,” said Hallgrimsson.
