Qatar SC coach Wesam Rizik spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 7 match against Al Rayyan.

“We face one of the strongest teams in this season’s league. They’re competing for the title, but that won’t deter our ambition to win.

“There’re professional players who came back to the team after recovering from injuries, such as Abdulnasser Khayati and Kayke.

“However, we’ll miss others like Yousef Hani, Khaled Abderraouf, Ali Awad and Ahmed Moein. It’s a reality. But I’ve full confidence in other players.

“I’m sure that it’ll be a very difficult game for us with those absences, especially against Al Rayyan who’ve players with high technique. Frankly, we’ll play more defensively and we must be realistic.

“I had watched Al Rayyan vs Al Sadd match, we have full statistics about Al Rayyan not only from that match but from all games they played this season. Our target is to perform with great strength,” said Wesam.
