Al Kharaitiyat coach Abdelaziz El Amri spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Duhail.

“We had hoped to achieve a positive result in the previous game against Al Khor. We did not expect to receive five goals. We suffered from individual mistakes, which is a psychological problem. The fear of relegation must be off the minds of our players. Only then will they be able to focus on the game and play well.

“Our team was not weaker than the opponents on the field in many matches, but we make mistakes. Against Al Khor, we could have scored a second goal through Valentin Lazar, but it did not happen and that made a big difference.

“Now, we have the game against Al Duhail. They are stronger and they can score goals. However, we will not be easy opponents. If we do not commit mistakes, we can win. We lost many games because of that reason. We cannot afford to do that against Al Duhail, who have very good attackers and midfielders,” said El Amri.
