Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Al Ahli.

“We have continued our good work and are ready to meet Al Ahli. The training was in a good atmosphere and we analysed our game after the last match which we lost to Al Rayyan by a lone goal.

“The whole focus will be on the next game. And we will work to correct the mistakes of the last round so as not to repeat them. Hopefully, we will benefit from what happened.

“This game is difficult, but we will play to collect three points. We must play with confidence. This is six points for us.

“Al Ahli are also desperate for three points, so we can expect a stiff fight. If you want to win, you have to attack. The main difference between us is that they have scored more goals than us.

“We are not under pressure. We respect all teams and we respect Al Ahli. If we win this game, we can make a big leap in the table,” said Murcia.
