Al Rayyan Under-23 coach Gilson Souza spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Gharafa.

“Our main goal is to maintain third place until the end of the league, so we are well prepared for this match. Al Gharafa are a good team with a large number of young players who have come up through their ranks.

“It was a good break during which we focused on the task on hand. I told the players it would not be easy and they had to put in big efforts in order to win the match.

“Now the league is in a crucial phase for all teams and there is pressure. I do not think we are under great pressure because we have experienced players to complement youngsters. So we cannot talk about pressure. We know where we stand and what our goal is,” said Souza.
