Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 18 match against Al Rayyan.

“There is no doubt that this game against Al Rayyan is tough, but we will play with all our strength and enthusiasm. We consider all matches as finals.

“We are going into this game after suffering a loss at the hands of Al Arabi. So we need to make up for the lost points.

“Our players are enthusiastic and motivated to stay in the First Division. I have confidence in the team and its ability to stay in the top flight. We do not think much about the rest of the matches. My focus now is on Al Rayyan and we have to be at the top of our form to win this match.

“We always seek to learn from defeats. In fact, we did well in the second half against Al Arabi. We will build on that aspect against Al Rayyan.

“Al Rayyan are a strong side in Qatar football with outstanding players in their ranks. I expect their revival following their loss to Al Sadd,” said Murcia.
