Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Rayyan.

“We did not have much time to prepare for the game against Al Rayyan. We focused on correcting some mistakes that we made in the previous match which we lost to Al Shahania.

“Mainly because we are coming off a shock defeat, we hope to play with high concentration and the result will hopefully be positive for us.

“The players have to be very focused in big games. They showed plenty of enthusiasm during training. Unfortunately, when we play against teams that are more or less at the same level as we are or lower than us, our players show complacency and lack of enthusiasm.

“If you look at the opportunities we missed, there are many. Most of them happened when we did not strike a right balance between offence and defence. We hope to take advantage of the opportunities we create against Al Rayyan,” said Trabelsi.
