Umm Salal coach Raul Caneda spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 2 match against Al Khor.

“We showed a good level in our previous game against Al Rayyan and we got the first point. Now, we’ve to think about beating Al Khor and earning our first three points.

“Our team has good players who performed well in the previous game. They include Mahmoud Al Mawas, who gets better after every match, and Yannick Sagbo, who plays a big role in leading the team.

“At the end of last season, I had said that Umm Salal needed to be rebuilt. This is what we’re working on now. More than 50 per cent of the team has been changed. The performance should be good and that’s exactly what we want to do in the next match against Al Khor,” said Caneda.
