Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Khor.

“Ahead of our game against Al Khor, as a coach, I must give an evaluation of our work and what we have done to correct the mistakes. We have been preparing for a large number of matches that we will play during this month and have worked on improving the fitness of players.

“We also realised that we have not been scoring many goals and worked on it as well. We hope that this year will be better for the team than last year.

“We seek titles and it is not easy in the Qatar league, especially as you compete with big teams such as Al Sadd and Al Duhail, who have high-quality players, foreign professionals and Qataris. We have no desire to recruit players in the winter transfer window.

“The Al Khor match is very important and we must be at the top of our readiness to achieve victory. These points count a lot. Al Khor are an excellent team and one of the teams that plays on counter-attack well.

“We look at the Al Khor match as a preparation for our Qatar Cup 2020 semifinal against Al Duhail and we target full points,” said Trabelsi.
