Al Khor coach Bernard Casoni spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Al Sadd.

“The break was important for us because we had the opportunity to play friendly matches. Al Sadd are the best team in the league, so we must be careful in this game.

“We will try to strike a right balance between the defence and attack. We enter all games to win, just like any other team.

“We have signed some new players to strengthen the squad. Our goal in the next phase is to achieve victories regardless of which team we play against in order to stay clear of danger zone.

“We hope professional players and new additions will help our cause, so we can improve our position in the standings. I am optimistic about the future, but we must wait for what happens on the pitch.

“Many teams used the break to make changes in their ranks, so it looks like we are heading for a new round of seven games because of the many changes in teams,” said Casoni.
