Al Wakrah coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Al Arabi.

“Al Wakrah always play to win, but it is football and it is difficult for all teams to win all their games.

“Al Arabi strikers are good at headers and they are effective in front of the goal. I hope we will be back to our winning ways with the result against Al Arabi. We will give all our efforts to win.

“Al Wakrah are coming from the Second Division, but we are capable of putting up strong performances. The absence of playmaker Cristian Ceballos undoubtedly affected the team. I always try to find the best formation for each game.

“Our team has six to eight players under the age of 23. We have a young team and we are working very well with the youngsters to develop their level and correct their mistakes,” said Marquez.
