Al Duhail coach Nabil Maaloul spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 11 match against Al Arabi.
“It is league action again after we played in the midweek against Al Sailiya. Al Arabi are going through tough times despite the excellent start they made at the start of the season.
“They have players who are capable of putting up outstanding displays and we have to be wary of them. We want to continue in the same way and we do not look at the results of other teams. We go into each match with victory in mind.
“I am afraid of players’ fatigue during this period. The team plays every four days and there are players who have not received any rest of late. So we focus on their recovery and we are not making them train rigorously for fear of injuries,” said Maaloul.
Al Duhail player Sultan Al Breik said, “Al Arabi are a strong team despite their slump in form of late. This game demands highest concentration and determination on the pitch from our side.”
