Al Wakrah coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Qatar SC.

“After a three-week break and return of the Qatar Olympic team members following the end of their campaign in the Asian Under-23 Championship, we prepared well for the game against Qatar SC. We are optimistic of getting positive result.

“Qatar SC have evolved greatly after the change of coach and they achieved a series of positive results. They are now largely organised, but we should not deny the big role their former coach Carlos Alos did in preparing the team, even if he was not successful.

“Regarding our player Christian Ceballos, he is not yet ready to play following his injury.

“Regarding the recruitment of Lucas Mendez, I would say he has good experience and can play in the match against Qatar SC,” said Marquez.
