Umm Salal is currently busy with team training sessions in Doha under coach Raul Caneda.

Most of the squad players have joined the team training before they leave for the Netherlands on July 17.

Coach Caneda, who joined Umm Salal last January, will head the pre-season training camp in the Netherlands until August 8.

The first stage of the team training sessions are currently focusing on fitness.

During the Netherlands training session, Umm Salal will play four friendly games to allow players match practice ahead of the new season.

The team's four overseas players Jao Victor, Victor Vazquez, Yannick Sagu and Mahmood Al Mawas will be part of the pre-season training.

Umm Salal, who finished in 9th spot with 23 points last season, will be aiming for a top four berth in the 2019-20 season.
