Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 11 match against Al Khor.

“We went through our paces calmly, focused and seriously during the break, and we prepared the team for the next stage that will be important.

“Our last league game was against Al Rayyan and we pulled off a draw after putting up a good performance. I hope players will build on that result in order to continue the positive results and achieve our first victory.

“The difference between us and Al Khor is only one point. They have good players and we have enough information about them. They also have information about us. The match will be difficult and small details will determine its result.

“We took advantage of the Ooredoo Cup games played during the break. We tried to give opportunity to players who do not compete in the league, to raise their level and engage them when the team needs them.

“The most important thing for us is to improve our position in the league. We are preparing with everything we have for this particular match. We are still looking for our first victory and hope it will come against Al Khor,” said Murcia.
