Al Sadd goalkeeper Saoud Al Hajri was back in training as he recovered from a cruciate ligament knee injury.

Saoud will continue his rehabilitation under the supervision of Spanish physical trainer Eduardo Perez.

Meanwhile, Al Sadd’s South Korean midfielder Jung Woo-Young continued his recovery process from an ankle injury he sustained during their QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Ahli. He missed out on his national-team duty as well.

Al Sadd have eight players in the Qatar squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Switzerland (14th November) and Iceland (19th November). They are Saad Al Dossari, Boalem Khoukhi, Abdulkarim Hassan, Tariq Salman, Salem Al Hajri, Akram Afif, Hassan Al Haydous and Pedro Miguel.

They also have five players (Meshaal Barshim, Hatem Kamal, Bahaa El Leithi, Hassan Ahmed and Yousef Abdelrazzaq) on Olympic duty.

The team resumed training with the rest of the players.

Al Sadd will play Al Sailiya in the third round of QSL Cup at the Al Ahli Stadium on 16th November. The kick-off is at 16:00.

Al Khor, Al Ahli, Al Rayyan and Al Shahania are the other teams in Group B.
