Qatar SC goalkeeping coach Wesner spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Sadd.

“Al Sadd are one of the strongest teams in the league. They are coming off a defeat, but they are still one of the best sides in Qatar as well as in Asia. We have to assess their strengths and weaknesses. We should be well-prepared for this encounter.

“Al Sadd have one of the best attacking lines in Asia, with the trio of Baghdad Bounedjah, Hassan Al Haydous and Akram Afif leading the charge. However, we will strive to provide everything we have in order to prove a match for them. It is 11 players against 11 players on the field.

“We have to try to get a positive result. There will be a long break in the league and we must take advantage of it to be in a good position to ensure that we move forward later. The recent results give us motivation to fight against Al Sadd,” said Wesner.
