Mr. Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, Executive Director of Competition and Football Development (Acting) at the QSL, hailed Al Sadd on the occasion of winning this season’s league competition after showing excellent levels. He wished them further success in domestic and other competitions, such as the AFC Champions League.

“The contest to win the league shield was strong and fierce between Al Sadd and Al Duhail, especially in the recent weeks where everyone saw a high level of competition between the stars of two clubs. The fight will continue to the final round between teams to determine their positions,” he said.

The official pointed out that all teams were striving to achieve their goals during the season. “We very much value our partnership with the clubs and their co-operation with us, which contributed towards the success of QNB Stars League season,” he added.
