The Junior Stars League (JSL), sponsored by the Qatar Stars League (QSL), continued its activities as part of the organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) towards spreading the culture of football among all sections of the society and forming constructive partnerships with many community institutions and stakeholders.

A new round of JSL event was held at the Doha College (Al Waab campus) on the morning of Friday, 12th April, 2019, with the participation of representatives from the ‘Learn to Invest’ programme of Qatar National Bank (QNB), the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa.

The event was attended by Mr. Nasser Mubarak Al Kuwari, Head of Community Relations at the QSL, Mr. Abdullah Arbabi, Head of CSR at the QNB, Mr. Ahmed Al Kubaisi, Head of Events Management at the QNB, as well as Ms. Reem Al Sulaiti and Mr. Ali Al Mulla from the QNB’s Events department.

It was attended by a large number of students and representatives of the programme, who were keen to give the participating children and students guidelines on how to invest, thereby motivating them to join the programme.

Some recreational activities were held and football matches were played. Students were presented with gifts. They were also given educational and informative instructions.

Mr. Nasser said, “This event was held in connection with our JSL initiative. The ‘Learn to Invest’ programme’s participation in it was commendable as the QNB is a strategic partner of the QSL. It allowed students to get a closer look at the programme that encourages a sense of investment among them.”
