The Qatar Stars League (QSL) discussed ways to strengthen collaboration with the Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) by providing the public with timely and efficient accessibility to reach match venues for future football tournaments, and particularly to Al Sadd Stadium, which will host the 2020 Qatar Cup matches from 10th to 17th, January.

Mr. Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Marketing, Sales and Communication at QSL, visited the Headquarters of Qatar Rail and met with Mr. Ajlan Eid Al Enazi, Chief of Strategy and Business Development, and Mr. Abdullah Al Mawlawi, Director of Public Relations and Communication, at Qatar Rail.

During the meeting, both parties addressed the importance of Doha Metro as a  transportation means that will help fans to the stadium hosting the Qatar Cup 2020, which saves time and effort. It was also agreed that continuous co-ordination will be set for the future.

On behalf of QSL, Mr. Al Kuwari said, “We’re proud of our National Railways Company (Qatar Rail) and its role in supporting our vision to provide integrated high-quality transport services to the public, especially during the 2020 Qatar Cup. Doha Metro is a dream that came true, as we’ve a safe, sustainable and economical transportation that helps save time and money.”

Mr. Abdullah Al Mawlawi, Director of Communication and Public Relation at Qatar Rail, said, “Qatar Rail is always aiming to provide necessary support for any tournament across the State of Qatar, and we strive to present a successful model of operations that facilitates the fans’ transportation which is considered a critical feature of tournament and a key performance indicator.
