Qatar SC face Al Shahania in Week 9 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 17:15 at the Qatar SC Stadium on Thursday, 31st October, 2019.

Qatar SC are on a high after their 5-0 defeat of Umm Salal last week, which resulted in the latter replacing Spanish coach Raul Caneda with Tunisian Ahmed El Abyad.

The victory helped Qatar SC climb from 11th to ninth position in the table with six points. Their other victory was against Al Khor (2-1) in Week 5.

The Kings have been making progress ever since they had a change at the helm, with Qatari coach Wesam Rizik coming in place of Spaniard Carlos Alos Ferrer.

Qatar SC have a goal difference of -7 (nine goals for and 16 against).

Al Shahania are coming from three consecutive draws, against Umm Salal, Al Ahli and Al Sailiya.

Yet, Jose Murcia’s men lie at the bottom of the table with three points. They are the only side not to have registered a victory yet. Their goal difference is -13 (five goals for and 18 against).

Qatar SC will be keen to keep winning, while Al Shahania will seek a victory to strengthen their campaign.
